GROUND TRANSPORTATION: ARE YOU INTERESTED?

Ground transportation arrangements can be made for DEPARTURE on July 1 between 5:00 a.m. and

11:00 a.m. from the Doral Golf Resort & Spa to both Fort Lauderdale and Miami International Airports if there is enough interest. E-mail dzconvention@dzshq.com, by May 15 if you are interested in this prearranged opportunity for a departure bus on July 1.

Convention attendees are responsible for their own travel
arrangements. When making travel plans, please take into consideration that the Doral Resort is located 15-20 minutes from the Miami International Airport. The Opening Celebration is from 6:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. so you should have plenty of time to check in, register and join the festivities!

In addition, taxi service is available at the Ground Transportation areas for the Miami International Airport. Be sure to give the driver the Doral Resort street address of NW 87th Avenue.


Driving Directions From Miami and Fort Lauderdale Airports
If you are renting a car at the airport, below are directions to the resort from two area airports:

From Miami International Airport:
1. Take State Road 836 West (Dolphin Expressway).

2. Exit NW 87th Avenue North. Follow exit ramp to stop sign
    and turn left.

3. Turn right on 87th Avenue.

4. Travel 2.5 miles to intersection of NW 36th Street.

5. Resort entrance is just past 36th Street, on the left.


From Fort Lauderdale International Airport:
1. Take I-595 West to the Florida Turnpike.

2. Take Florida Turnpike South.

3. Follow Florida Turnpike Homestead Extension.

4. Exit on NW 41st Street East.

5. Travel approximately 4 miles.

6. Turn left at 87th Avenue intersection.

7. Resort entrance is immediately on the left.
